A little bc I didn’t notice the review section. This is the only practice I trusted to deliver my 3 babies. Dr. Connolly is my primary OB. He listens when you speak. He is knowledgeable, patient, professional, and has just made me feel consistently comfortable sharing anything without judgement. It’s a great practice. Front office is wonderful too.
My GYN is Dr Alice Vincent. She is wonderful!!! She takes the time to listen to concerns and truly cares about her patients. I had a few post-menopausal bleeding incidents over the past year, and she consulted Dr Raymond Reilly while I was there. Dr Reilly came in, examined me, and, with time, I decided on a hysterectomy with Dr Reilly. I cannot say enough about him! He was so thorough, caring and kind!! He was right with me, from pre-op, through surgery, after surgery, and today for my post-op. He was in each morning to see me while I stayed for a few nights at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Thank you to Dr Vincent for consulting Dr Reilly, and thank you to Dr Reilly for all that you did for me! Such an outstanding practice!
I received my antenatal care at this facility and eventually delivered a healthy baby girl in April 2022. My apparently normal pregnancy and childbirth suddenly turned complicated when I needed assisted delivery after prolonged labor. Dr. Kolbas was extremely proficient in her skills and helped me maintain my calm all throughout the process. She was quick to asses the situation and very skillfully delivered my baby. I am very very grateful to have Dr. kolbas during my childbirth.
Doctors and front desk are competent. Any time of finding was one hair outside of the norm, everyone acted like the sky was falling. They thought my baby had all of these rare genetic disorders due to the baby’s small size, but overlooked that I had preeclampsia. They are trying so hard to avoid a lawsuit but with the way they behave there just a lawsuit waiting to happen. They do their jobs well if you were lucky enough to have a moderate to low risk pregnancy. But if your pregnancy turns out to be high-risk, go somewhere else. they are not equipped to handle it and deliver information to you in a calm and rational manner.
This office saved the day when all the hospital beds were full and I needed my expired IUD removed and a new one inserted under anesthesia. I was almost in tears when the office first called me saying they could get me in for a consultation. Dr. Bahamon, nurses and other staff were nothing but wonderful and it was the least painful out of my other three IUD procedures! Five stars and beyond!!
I was happy how fast they helped me when I was having bad abdominal pain but I saw the nurse practitioner who swore heavily the whole time telling me the pregnancy was fine when no tests or anything had been done to know that. They were good to get me in to a ultrasound in two days but no one ever called or checked in with me to review the ultrasound. The cramping was still going on and I called a few times and no one got back to me about it so I thought no news is good news. I then met Dr. Marsh who said everything seemed fine but that I needed to do a test for my partners advanced paternal age should there be a issue and we have to abort the pregnancy. I have now waited three weeks for the results and my Offner and I petrified at the thought of abortion. Now I got the results from the portal but the genetics counselor not doctor have contacted me. If this was such a big deal and we needed to know right away in case we have to have a termination there has been no support, no answers and no contact. I’m appalled we’ve been under such stress already of both our advanced ages and to have this miracle pregnancy for a doctor to say that to you right before Christmas and New Years having to wait to tell your family & friends during the holidays in case we have to have as Dr.Marsh said abort the pregnancy. There’s no support or empathy here they treat you like you took a number from the deli & your waiting to order a pound of meat. Extremely dissatisfied & disappointed. Very cruel and unfortunate to do this to someone as a advanced maternal age. I transferred my doctors and will not suggest ever to come here ever. Doctors need to be more caring take the time with their patients not treat them like a deli number and not specialize each unique pregnancy.
Dr. Kolbas’ bedside manner is lacking. I followed all instructions given to me regarding the oral glucose tolerance test, (including letting the front desk know when I finished my glucola), and when the front desk didn’t coordinate the time with the ultrasound, Dr. Kolbas told me it was my fault, plus the test was scheduled too early in my pregnancy. It was a terrible encounter. I had no semblance of an apology or acknowledgment from her for how their office could have handled things better. To add to this, the ultrasound tech made it sound like I probably still had time to get the glucose drawn after their exam, which I was completely untrue. I’m surprised that the different disciplines have so little understanding of other protocols outside of their specific scope of practice. This office does not appear well coordinated, and I think Dr. Kolbas needs to learn how to offer a therapeutic apology.
I am newly pregnant and recently moved to the Boston area. I am very concerned with finding the right doctor for me and was hoping to become a patient at NEOGA. I called your reception line and was told I am unable to meet with a doctor to get comfortable with them before scheduling my first appointment, cannot schedule a regular visit to meet the doctor until mid-November, and can't schedule my first prenatal appointment until 10 weeks (I am currently almost 7 weeks). It is pretty disappointing and frankly shocking it is so hard to make an appointment to meet a doctor I will have throughout my entire pregnancy. Needless to say, I will not be going with NEOGA.
I’ve been a patient of NEOBGYN; specifically Dr.Mari-Kim Bunnell’s for 17 years. She still amazes me at the wonderful care she gives me at every appointment. She’s smart and thorough and I’m so thankful for her dedication. The office is run exceptionally well. It is so clean and everyone is so kind. It’s definitely a practice you’d want for your care.
Dr. Reilly and his staff are second to none. And a quick shout out to Clay at the security desk /EMT for being pleasant, kind, caring and safe. He’s an asset to that building !
