Due to inclement weather, the office will delay opening until 10:00AM. Our phone lines will be open for normal operating hours today from 8:30-5pm with our nursing and scheduling teams available to speak with you.

Reminder – Our office will be closed on Friday December 24th and Friday December 31st in observance of Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. We wish you all a happy and safe holiday.

We now have updated phone hours – our scheduling, nursing and billing teams will now be available one half hour earlier.  Our phones will now be live Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Update 10:09pm – We continue to have phone service issues including with our answering service – if you are in labor or having an obstetric emergency you may call the hospital directly at 617-732-5656 to reach the physician on call.  We apologize for the inconvenience and will continue to work with our telecommunication team to rectify the issue.

A message from Vivian Hernandez, MD:

It is with mixed emotions that I share the news of my retirement from medical practice. Some of you I have known for decades and others are more recent acquaintances but overall, it has been an honor and a joy to provide care to you all over the last 40 years. I will miss working closely with my colleagues at New England OB-GYN with whom it has been a privilege to work alongside. The doctors and staff at New England OB-GYN are among the finest, most professional individuals in the medical field. I am looking forward to pursuing my varied interests, discovering new activities and spending more time with family and friends. While I will no longer be able to provide your gynecological care, I have every confidence in our group and providers’ ability to address your needs. I encourage you to continue to contact our office for your gynecological care and wish you all the best in health and happiness.
