Education is Key!
We now offer complimentary educational classes to our prenatal patients. Brigham and Women's Hospital also offer classes for expectant parents at their main campus facility.
NEW - Breastfeeding Classes
When: 8 am-9 am
Jen Harper, NP, CLC will be hosting breastfeeding classes for expectant moms.
There is a cost of $20 for breastfeeding classes.
1st Trimester Patient Information Classes
When: 8 am-9 am
Great for first time moms or moms that are new to our practice, first trimester classes provide answers to all of your early pregnancy questions. The practice hosts 1st trimester information sessions led by Nurse Practitioner and Certified Lactation Counselor, Jen Harper. Classes cover the following topics:
This informational session does not take the place of scheduled office visits, but it is a forum for our patients to ask questions and learn more about our practice.
Labor and Delivery Classes
Classes are led by nurse practitioner Renee Rotman, Mary Dorsheimer, RN, and Valerie Sweeney, RN all with years of experience on the labor and delivery floor at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
Class content will include what to expect and what to do during early labor, arriving at the hospital, pain management, the labor process and the post partum period.
